Tính từ ngắn (short adjectives) là những tính từ

- chỉ có một âm tiết như “fast, good, tall, nice…”.

- có hai âm tiết và âm tiết thứ hai có kết thúc là “-y, -er, -le, -ow, -et”: happy, purple,
hollow, quiet…

Ví dụ: Hanna seems very nice.

So sánh hơn:
Tính từ ngắn+er than: I am taller than her. I am shorter than him. I am healthier
More Tính từ dài than : I am more beautiful than her.
This doll is more expensive than robot.

So sánh nhất:
the Tính từ ngắn+ est. I am the tallest. I am the shortest in my class.
The most tính từ dài. I am the most beautiful.
Expensive: đắt đỏ/mắc
This laptop is the most expensive in the store.
