Bibles
In 2014, Bible League
International introduced
“God’s Word Your Journey
to Freedom” and is a one-of-
a-kind Bible uniquely
designed for those in prison.
It’s nicknamed it “The
Freedom Bible” and we have
been distributing them since
its introduction.
Cuba
We appreciate the opportunity in February to
team up with The Hanna Project and our Cuban
brothers to repair the playground at the Cedars of
Lebanon Seminary in Cuba. The playground was
built 17 years ago and was desperately needing
repairs and updating.
The kids obviously approved!

Using the Easy-to-Read translation, this Bible

presents Scripture in simple, everyday language.
It also contains features that include a 52-week
study lesson prepared specifically for the
incarcerated. It is also produced in Spanish.
The Prison Bible also has four encouraging
sections that teaches the incarcerated:
1. Becoming a Follower of Jesus
2. Following Jesus in Prison
3. Preparing for Release
4. Following Jesus Outside of Prison
In the first quarter of 2023 we have distributed
1,739 Bibles in Oklahoma and Texas prisons with
the majority being “The Freedom Bible”.
Most incarcerated men and women will be
released one day. Wouldn’t it be best for everyone
that they know Jesus before they were released!

Rice to Cuba Our team traveled to Mexico in March. On the first
evening we partnered with a church to do a Bible

Mexico
One of our team members recently had the
opportunity to lead a young lady to the Lord! She
shares her story…
“I was sitting at a
table with all the
older girls, and they
asked me what I
studied in school. I
told them I was a
psychology major,
and they asked me
to psychoanalyze
them. After trying to explain that I didn't know
enough to do that I eventually just started bluffing
my way through by restating observations. But
one of the girls in the group was different.
I felt the Holy Spirit as soon as I looked into her
eyes and the Lord took it from there. Speaking
Spanish much more eloquently than I could on my
own, I started telling this girl about all the
confusion in her heart; how she'd been finding it
hard to live in the children's home because she
could see God moving everywhere and was
confused as to why He never moved like that for
her.
By the end of our talk, she was crying rather
intensely, and I asked her if she wanted to accept
Christ in her heart as her Savior. She said yes and
we prayed. Afterwards she hugged me and said
"I love you new sister, and I will never forget you.
This has meant eternity for me."
We continue to support Centauro, a home for the
disabled homeless and fed about 85 residents.
They are desperately needing additional support
just to provide meals! We fed everyone at Vision
de Amor children’s home and had a great time
with the kids. We also took them food items and
clothes. They have remodeled the bathrooms and
kitchen and they looked amazing! We served at
Noblasi church and helped with the English
classes.
While we were there,
a team member was
able to lead a lady to
the Lord that lived
next door! Praise the
Lord!

circumstances that God uses to work through BBFTC
