(Personal Reflection)

It is critical to have the capacity to comprehend and measure risk. This can be
used to describe the precise ways in which risk should be able to be handled, as well as
the precise way in which risk should be dealt with on a macro level. It's important to
realize that risk management is an excellent tool for reducing risk and manage
everything.
As what in the video shows about risk reduction and management, the four
pillars were struck me the most while viewing the presentation. Preparedness pillar,
response pillar, prevention and mitigation pillar, and rehabilitation and recovery pillar.
We must imply and spread it to all nations that these pillars are very important in risk
reduction and management to be more effective and also assurance of safety for
everybody. Henceforth, having a knowledge and wisdom in risk management can be
really helpful not only within yourself but in your community as well by also teaching
them on how to manage everything in good and safe ways. However, it is paramount to
know about risk underlying disasters simply because we are dealing natural crisis that
can make our lives in danger, therefore we must be resourceful, we must improve and
develop critical thinking and innovative as well.
Briefly to conclude, we have to asses the level of awareness of the situation in
risk underlying in different disasters and in risk management there are lots of tools that
we can be use in order for effective and less problem outcomes.
