Notice to fill GEIII, SEC and VAC and DSE option form
Each First-year student of 2022-2023 batch in the II semester ( upcoming III Sem 2023-24 w.e.f.
Aug 16 2023) has to select one Generic Elective (GE-II) Paper, SEC paper and VAC paper through
the link available on the college website (Student Corner>Form>GE II Sem Form). Kindly go
through the G E / S E C / V A C / D S E Norms available there before filling the
GE/SEC/VAC/DSE form . Some courses are having fixed GE, unless surrendered by the student
in writing, as required for their higher studies.

This Semester the fixed GE will be as follows and their students need not fill the
GE option in the form. However, they have to fill the SEC ,VAC and DSE options.

B.Sc.(H) Chemistry - Mathematics

Other department students can also get these subjects ( e.g. Maths by Physics ) based on the seat
availability in the said course on the Merit cum Preference basis. The link will be activated up to
July 18,2023, 5:00 pm only. A penalty of 5-10% of marks would be imposed in case of late
submission. Since these are compulsory papers, the college reserve the right to allot these paper on
its own in case no response or preference is submitted by the student within the stipulated time.
Students are advised to screen through the syllabus and/ or subject opportunities etc. of different
papers before filling the form and have their priority list ready.
Important
• Login to your Gmail Account to fill the form.
• Select your GE, SEC, VAC, DSE subject carefully in your order of preference.
• A confirmation with “Edit Response” will be sent to your email (May go to SPAM, so
check your SPAM folder).
• Generate the confirmation number as per the instruction for future reference.
• Get your confirmation number (after submission) on this link.
• Use “Edit Response” link received in your mail to change after submission. Confirmation
number won’t change and remain the same. Only the latest response will be considered in
case of multiple responses.

▪ Don’t choose GE papers offered by your own department.

▪ Don’t fill same subject in two or more preferences.
▪ Don’t fill the SEC/VAC paper you have already studied in 1st or 2nd semester.
▪ Don’t share the confirmation mail with anyone, s/he may overwrite your response with new
records which will leave your response blank. The college will not be responsible for this.

• Allotment of GE, SEC, VAC options will be based purely on Merit cum Preference basis as per
the number of seats offered by a department concerned.

▪ First year result for GE, SEC and VAC will be considered for deciding the merit of the
student. In case of result on the CGPA basis, you are required to multiply the result by a factor
of 9.5 to fill the result in percentage.

• No change will be allowed after due date and time notified on the form.
• Keep track on college website regarding your responses recorded by the system. If your
response on the website is coming blank/ different, immediately contact your Teacher in
Charge with a proof of your CNF no.

• In case of false information or/and duplicate entry of the subject, the form is likely to be
rejected. You may not get your preferred GE/SEC/VAC option.

• The college reserves the right to allot the required GE/Sec/VAC option on its own.
