When attempting to submit custom payroll flow, value set values are not shown on

list of values. How to create Value Set Values In Custom Payroll Flow?

SOLUTION

In this use case, there are three setup processes to perform, Create Lookup
Codes, Create Value Set, Create Payroll Flow Pattern as noted below.

Create Lookup Codes

1. Navigator > Setup and Maintenance > Manage Common Lookups

2. Click on Create

3. Enter Lookup Type, Meaning, Description > Click on Module search > Search for
applicable Module, in this example, Payroll Flows

4. Click on Save > Click on plus sign to add Lookup Codes

5. Enter Lookup Code values > Click on Save and Close

Create Value Set

1. Navigator > Setup and Maintenance > Manage Payroll Value Sets > Click on
Create

2. Enter below values > Save and Close

 Create Payroll Flow Pattern

1. Navigator > Setup and Maintenance > Manage Payroll Flow Patterns > Create

2. Select applicable Legislative Data Group > Continue

3. Enter flow name > Next

4. Click on Next

5. Click on Next

6. Parameters > Click on Add

7. Enter Parameter Details > Next


   a. Note value for Lookup is the Value Set Code created above
 

8. Next

9. Submit

Test New Flow

1. Navigator > Payroll > Checklist > Submit a Payroll Flow > Select LDG > Select
flow name > Next

2. Enter Payroll Flow name > Click on Search > Click on Search > observe values
