REFLECTION

“A good education can change anyone. A good teacher can change everything.”
As a Science teacher, I always make sure that they enjoyed learning science. That they will have
hands on and minds on learning. Science is not about theories, learning inside the four corners of
the classroom. Science is about exploring, discovering, and learning by doing. As their teacher, I
require them to made some models of what we have discussed on our lessons just like the
digestive system, the process of mitosis , parallel circuit, covalent and ionic bonding. This will
help them learn about these topics the process and the flow.

You can integrate science in other subject like Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao, where the value of
cooperation, being patient and determination on making those models is applied. It can also be
integrated with Math where in buying the materials basic operation of mathematics can be
applied.
In this generation, teacher is just a facilitator of learning gone were the days where spoon feeding
of learning is applied. We are now in the 21 st Century , it is now LEARNER CENTERED the
theory of Howard Gardner of multiple intelligences is present.
