VIII. RATIONALE:

In reference to the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) Regulation No. 5, s.


2007 entitled Institutionalizing the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Program,
Section 5. The Schools Division of Quezon through the School Governance and
Operations Division-Youth Formation section advises all public secondary
schools of the conduct of 2022 Barkada Kontra Droga Fest of Talents on
November 13-26, 2022.

In line with the Division Memo, the Barkada Kontra Droga Caigdal NHS
chapter will facilitate a contest for Visual Arts Category: Pencil Rendering
and in Literary Category: Poetry Writing.

IX. OBJECTIVES:
This activity aims to:
 Showcase the innate talents and skills of BKD members in secondary level as
well as their knowledge and advocacies towards drugs and other substance abuse
prevention.

Showcase the innate talents and skills of BKD members in secondary level as
well as their knowledge and advocacies towards drugs and other substance abuse
prevention.

VIII. RESULTS
 The activity provided an opportunity to Showcase their innate
talents and skills as well as their knowledge and advocacies
towards drugs and other substance abuse prevention
 Other students who were’nt able to join and participate in the
activity encouraged to participate in the future programs of the
BKD.
