THE HUMMING BIRD. READER RESPONSE.

1.- Because Alina’s father wants to have good politics relationships with his own
tribe and probably with others tribes. She musn´t marry Taroo because he’s an
enemy of the tribe, i think this isn’t fair, because everyone should have the chance
to make his own decisions.
2.- Taroo is a good guy, he has values i think, and sense of responsability.
3.- The hummingbird is small, intelligent, always looking for flowers for extract
something.
4.- Is a sad ending because it means that he will looking always to his love.
“Ever since then the Little many-colored bird has hovered over every flower he
finds, but returns most often to the flowers that are red. He is still looking, always
looking, for the one red flower that will be his lost Alida.”
It is an appropiate ending, but sad.
