Last Updated: July 2010 uration: 1-2 hours Release to Production ¢ The prototype board used in your initial development is probably different from the production boards you will see when the Recipe is released. — Identify false calls and evaluate as if it were a new joint in development. — Run the test, Chart the results - compare the Median with the Nominal settings in the Measurements tab. If different, Update Nominals and see if that makes the tests more stable. — Enable graphics and step through the Measurement Diagnostics. Verify the Regions of Interest are still being found correctly. If not, re-tune the joint. — Run the test, Chart the results - compare the Pass / Fail settings with the production board’s measurements and adjust as needed. ¢ Was the board redesigned? — Verify devices have not been repositioned! — Locate any new devices and add them to your test. — Locate deleted devices and remove them from your test. ici ii: = Release to Production Seek feedback from other test systems — At In-Circuit test, Functional test, etc. identify escaped joints that the V810 should have caught. — Get the faulty board back before it is repaired. — Re-tune the escaped joint type so it will not escape again. e Re-release to Production - Monitor the Recipe by enabling Production Tuning Production Tuning — Finishing the Tuning Before setting up Production Tuning, make sure: ¢ Initial Tuning has been done * Shorts data has been learned Save and archive your work: * Save Recipe as usual. * Open Home Page — Click Add to Recipe Database Add your Recipe to the database. This is an archive function and insures a good copy of your work is saved. — To retrieve a Recipe, click the Recipes Available in Recipe Database and select the archived Recipe. On the V810: Set the initial number of production tuning image sets to collect for fine-tuning. This represents the initial number of panels for defect images to be collected, regardless of the Re-enable conditions setting — described later. 3. Go to the Test Execution environment and test boards. As results are collected, the above number decreases until it reaches zero. dl Production Tuning — Initial Production Tuning On the Test Development Station (TDS): 1. Go to the Home > Recipe Database > Recipes Available. The loaded Recipe on the V810 system should be seen here, since both the system and TDS point to the same Recipe Database Directory path. 2. Right-click on the required Recipe and select Pull Selected Recipe. This will copy it under Recipes Available on This System on the TDS drive. Then the system again collects the failure image sets for the next specified number of panels (10 for the above example).
