b. Memo from PD, BUKPPO dated July 12, 2023 with subject same as above.
2. This pertains to the letter request from ILDE ANGELA M ESCOBILLA, Area
Manager for Northern Mindanao, Balay Mindanaw Foundation, Inc. That the Balay
Mindanaw Foundation, Inc. (BMFI) and Save the Children Philippines (SCP) have
partnered with the City Government of Valencia as a pilot area for the project titled
“Strengthening Community–based Awareness, Prevention and Protection. Against
Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC). The project aims to
enhance the capacity of service providers in raising awareness and managing cases
related to OSAEC in Valencia City.
3. In this connection, submitted herewith is our (1) WCPD participant to attend
the three (3) days training on “Enhancing the Competencies of Police Officers on
Rights-Based Policing for Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OASEC)
on August 1-3, 2023 at Apple Tree Resort and Hotel, Opol, Misamis Oriental.
