SECTION 01305 - DATA REQUIREMENTS
PART 1 – GENERAL
1.1 RELATED DOCUMENTS
A. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including Conditions of Contract and other
Division 1 Specification Sections, apply to this Section.
1.2 SUMMARY
A. This Section includes requirements for submittals for the Construction Stage. The requirements
for the Design Stage are specified in the Employer's Requirements (III-1).
1.3 SUBMITTALS FOR CONSTRUCTION STAGE.
A. Shop Drawings:
1. Initial Electronic Submittal: Submit initial file in original Autocad format without any type
of user lock, using the corresponding EDMS workflow for review. Review will be
processed through the EDMS online markup tool and the review outcome accordingly.
2. Subsequent Electronic Submittals: if as per the review outcome amendments are required
to be implemented, the Contractor shall perform these changes in the original Autocad file
according to the indications in the on-line markup.
3. Harcopies Submittal: If requested by the Engineer, submit a total of 5 printouts in the
required size as support for revision, job use or maintenance manuals. The use of this
copies is subject to the provisions in Technical Specification Section 01330 Submittal
Procedures.
B. Product Data: Submit manufacturer's catalog data for materials and equipment, showing
manufacturer, type, model number, capacity, color, and related spatial, power supply and
utilities/facility interface support information. Mark each copy to indicate the actual product to
be provided; show selections from among options in the manufacturer's printed product data.
Submit 2 copies to the Engineer; submittal is for information and record purposes only. Where
the product data is required for operation and maintenance manuals, submit 2 additional copies,
which will be returned with the Engineer’s review comments. Maintain 1 additional copy at the
Project site for reference purposes. Do not proceed with the installation of manufactured
products until a copy of related product data is in the installer's possession at the Project site.
C. Samples: Submit 3 sets of samples; 1 set will be returned. Provide 3 or more samples in each
set where variations in color, pattern or texture are observable; show average condition and
extreme range of variations. Submit full documentation with each set. Sample submittals are
for the Engineer's review of color, texture, pattern, and kind. Maintain returned set at the
Project site for purposes of quality control comparisons.
D. Project Photographs: Submit digital files through the EDMS with a minimum size of 8 MP
plus print outs with a minimum quality of 1200 dpi. Submit photographs at regular intervals
during construction as determined by the Engineer.

E. Field Records: register and transmit electronic or scanned copies through the EDMS.
F. Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals and recommended / provided Spare Parts
Lists: Submit electronic copies through the EDMS plus 2 bound copies. O&M manuals shall
include warranty documents.
G. As-Built and Record Drawings: Submit original maintained marked-up Autocad file through
the EDMS, without any user blocking or restriction. Prepare a complete set of all engineering
drawings which have been conformed (modified) to reflect the as-constructed / installed (as-
built) configuration, layout, details, and dimensional information. These As-Built and Record
Drawings shall be clearly identified and labeled (denoted) as such in order to avoid confusion
between this set of drawings and the preliminary or final design documents, according to the
provisions in Technical Specification Section 01330 Submittal Procedures.
H. Inspection and Test Reports: Submit electronic file in pdf. format through the EDMS.
a. Structural Reports: Licensed structural engineer responsible for design shall make a
minimum of 3 visits to the Project site to perform structural observations and submit statements
in accordance with UBC Section 3107 to ensure conformance of foundations, walls, and roof
construction to the approved drawings.
b. HVAC, both air and hydronics, testing and balancing reports.
c. Fluid system hydrotest/pressure test reports.
d. Plumbing piping system pressure testing reports.
e. Domestic hot and cold water cleaning and disinfection reports.
f. Software used and as-built program configurations of all programmable systems or
equipment controllers.
I. Other Submittals: Provide submittals through the EDMS in the electronic format and form
required in the Project Management Plan.
