PSYCHOLOGY OF ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE

BS JOINT HONORS IN BUSINESS & PSYCHOLOGY

SPRING 2023

An effective way to help students learn about ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE is through the known
(successful and failed) changes that have happened in the corporate world.

The class has been divided into 5 to 6 groups. Each group is assigned an example of an organization
which has undergone change.

Total 15 marks.

INDIVIDUAL WORK:

Every student must watch the videos of INDRA NOOYI (53 mins duration) to understand how companies
foresee, prepare and sustain changes. There is a brief video and also a detailed/ complete one, I would
recommend to watch both.

GROUP WORK:

 Each group to google the information about the organization change assigned to them.
 Prepare a presentation on these lines:
o Two slides on the introduction to the organization
o Two slides of the change that they planned
o Two slide on what went right and wrong with the change.
o Two slides on lessons learned
o One slide of conclusion

Deliverables: Detailed Report and a power point presentation (max 10-12 slides) to be presented and
uploaded on LMS course page

Marking criteria and Presentation guidelines:


 Presentation should be made on power point. Duration of presentation should be max 15-20
mins.
 The presentation should meet the criteria of a good interactive & interesting presentation,
language & grammar errors will result in marks deduction.
 The presentation should be divided among the group members & every member must present a
fair quantity of slides.
 A short question and answer session of 5 mins will be followed as part of presentation.

Presentation by the groups is scheduled on First Week of May 2023.
