University for the Academic Session 2023 -24 is as under:

1. Commencement of Admission

After the decl aration o f results of the Common Universit y Entrance Test
C U E T - U G - 2 0 2 3 b y t h e N a t i o n a l T e s t i n g A g e n c y, t h e U n i v e r s i t y
a n n o u n c e s t h e commencement of admission to Under Graduate Programmes
(UG)-2023 from 19 th July, 2023 (Wednesday) to 2 nd August (Wednesday)
midnight 2023.

The candi dat es who are s u ccessful in CUET-UG-2023 must login to Tripura University
admission portal https://tripuraunivcuet.samarth.edu.in/ for applying to their p r e f e r r e d
P r o g r a m s , s u b j e c t t o f u l f i l l m e n t o f t h e eligibility criteria.

2. Correction Window

In case any candidate wants to correct any information provided by them

i n t h e r e g i s t r a t i o n p o r t a l , t h e y m a y d o s o b e f o r e p a ym e n t o f t h e
registration fee. Once Registration fee is paid no further correction can
be made in the registration portal.

Only the documents/certificates uploaded on the Tripura University

a d m i s s i o n p o r t a l w i l l b e considered for admission purposes.

3. Calculation of Program-Specific merit score

The Candidates will have to map the subjects studied by them in Class
XII to those in which they have appeared in CUET -2023. Only those
subjects will be considered in which the candidate has passed his/her
C l a s s X I I b o a r d e x a m . In c a s e t h e s u b j e c t s t u d i e d i n C l a s s X I I w a s n o t a
part of CUET, the subject similar or closer to the subject studied in
C l a s s X I I w i l l b e c o n s i d e r e d . It w i l l b e s o l e r e s p o n s i b i l i t y o f t h e
candidate to provide correct s ubject-mapping.

For admission, Tripura University will consider subject -based

"Norm al ised S core" provi ded b y NTA for cal cul at ing t he P rogram -Group
m erit s cores. The candi dat es wi l l be a bl e t o see t hei r P rogr am -S peci fi c
C UET s core, based on the Normalized score, for all the Programs in which
they are eligible for. These Program-Specific CUET scores will be displayed
against the name of t he candidat e.

*Criteria for selection of candidate(s) for spot admission will be decided on the basis of the
number of seats vacant and the numbers of candidates apply for spot admission.

The University may announce more rounds subject to the availability of vacant seats, if any.
For admission of the Non-CUET candidates (if any), International candidates and
the candidates falling under special quota, a separate Non-CUET portal will be
notified later on.
The Academic Session for Undergraduate Programs for Semester I commence on 28 t h
August, 2023 (Monday).
