To avail this to individuals our government had framed an education policy in 1986 but with the peace of time this education policy become insufficient to secure the purpose in an effective manner. The structural transformation in NEP consists of three categories. – • School Education: In the NEP, the old 10+2 model is replaced by 5+3+3+4 model. (a) Foundational stage: It includes five years of pre-schooling period. (b) Preparatory stage: Under this stage classes 3 to 5 with ages 8 to 11 years are include. (c) Middle stage: It consist of class 6 to 8 with ages 11 to 14. Secondary stage: It consist of class 9, 10, 11 and 12 with ages 14 to 19 years. To know the progress and for the assessment of students a assessment body named PARAKH is established. • Higher education: It include the Bachelor degree with 4 years of education. 1st year course – It will provide with certification. 2ed Year course - It will provide a diploma degree. 3rd year course – It will provide a bachelor’s degree. 4th year course – It will provide degree integrated with research work and finding related to the subject studies. ❖ National testing agency will hold common entrance exam for NEET and JEE also. ❖ People who can’t hear, speak and see can use sign language. ❖ Foreign Universities will det their campuses in our country. • Teacher Education and recruitment - Under this programme, four years integrated B. ed will be essential for teaching.
