Following steps have to be taken for making the herbarium:
 Choose a well developed healthy plant.
 Cut a part of plant which should have stem/branch, leaf, and flower on it.
 Clean any mud /dust from it.
 Place it between the newspapers and keep it aside for the drying.
 Put a heavy book/material on these newspaper sheets to remove the moisture.
 Keep on changing the newspaper frequently for proper removal of the moisture.
 Place a well dried plant on the herbarium sheet and past it with the help of glue or the cello tape.

IMPORTANT POINTS:
 Use A3 paper for it. The paper should be of good quality.
 There should be a cover page for it.
 Minimum TEN plants should be used for the project.
 One A3 page should be used for one plant.
 At the right bottom of the page, write the identification of the plant including the name/scientific name/habitat
etc.
 The products of the plant like seeds/spores/raisins/pollen grains etc. should collected in the small transparent
pouch which should be stapled at the same page.
 The plant should be well spread and well pasted on the sheet.
