For Freire, the game is were synonymous: play is
presented as this space of your child's job, simply
action of the child on reality; because it is the means by
of understanding and action
in the world; a space for Game is which he learns. Throughout
her life, Montessori believed
discoveries and learning in the value of structured
(Freire & Guimarães, 1984) play with children.

According to Guy Jacquin


(1996), the game is a
spontaneous and
disinterested activity that
requires a freely chosen rule.
