WEBSITE ANALYSIS MARCH 19- MAY 10

Objectives

The objective of this report is to analyse the website interaction data in order to gain insights into
user behaviour and engagement. By examining various metrics and variables related to website
usage, we aim to understand how users interact with the website, identify potential areas of
improvement, and make data-driven decisions to enhance the user experience.
OBSERVATIONS:

 The file consist of 1951 entries from March 19 th 2023 till May 10th 2023.

 The customer who have done the payment has spent more than 24hrs to make the payment
decision. The customer has gone through hotel view, 7 experience and also have clicked on
export option once.
 The most viewed hotel code by the user is 5634 which is 218 times
Correlation matrix
The analysis shows a negative correlation between the variables, indicating no significant
relationship or association between them. A negative correlation suggests that changes in
one variable are not consistently related to changes in the other variable. This finding
implies that the variables do not exhibit a consistent pattern of change in opposite direction.
Descriptive statistics
 newprop, viewhotel, changeroom, viewexpe,export, likes: Indicating that a small
proportion of customers had used these variables.
 payhotel: Suggesting that only a very small proportion of customers made a hotel payment
 new proposal: The mean is around 0.1937 , indicating that a significant proportion of
customers made a new proposal.
 change hotel: The mean is approximately 0.2622, indicating that a relatively large
proportion of customers changed their hotel
 viewProposal: The mean is approximately 0.2275, indicating that a significant proportion of
customers viewed proposals.

Revisit count
The total number of customers revisited our site is 9 where the highest by a single customer is
14 times.
Daily Customer Analysis
In the given time period the highest customer view was on May 9 th and May 8th which was
12 and 11 customers.
Conclusion:

From the above analysis we can observe an increase in daily view of customers in our website.
The negative correlation indicates that there is no relation between the variables. Out of the 47
customers 21 has visited our website more than once. As review is one of the main factor that
lead to get more customers we must try to get more reviews. Three customers has viewed our
website continuously of days. As we have the data of our customers, such as email after visiting
our site we can utilise it for sending special deals as part of our marketing to attract more
viewers.
