Narcotics Distribution Investigation
August 1, 2023

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office has concluded an undercover narcotics operation. Fentanyl
along with quantities of methamphetamine, and cocaine were seized during the operation.

As a result of the drug operation, a Henry County Grand Jury issued indictments on July 17,
2023. This operation resulted in 100 felony charges being issued on 34 adults. These indictments were
sealed by the Henry County Circuit Court until July 31st.

On July 20, 2023, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the Virginia State Police,
Martinsville Police Department, Henry County Department of Public Safety, United States Marshals
Service and the Drug Enforcement Administration arrested multiple suspects on felony charges.
