Audition Requirements
Auditions will take place in two rounds. Please note that auditions will be heard unaccompanied
and sight reading may be given.

Candidates will be required to present:

- the first movement of a classical concerto

- a short contrasting piece
- the following orchestral excerpts:

Britten Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra Page 6

Round 1

Please note that round 1 will be an audio file submission via the online application form.

Round 2

Candidates will be required to present:

- All material from Round 1

- The following movement of chamber music, in an ensemble made up of CBSO players.
