Surface wave interaction with an array of floating structures.

M.Tech Thesis | Prof. Trilochan Sahoo | MATLAB Aug 2022 – Apr 2023
• Developing a numerical code in MATLAB using Boundary Element Method (BEM) to examine how a
variety of floating structures interact with surface-gravity waves. It has engineering applications for
Barges, Floating Bridges, Floating Breakwater etc.
• Built code for arrays of Triangular, Semi-circular, Rectangular, Trapezoidal bodies and performed
simulations by varying incident wave height, wavelength, number of structures, relative spacing, relative
depth etc.
• Research aims to create such a combination which is having high reflection coefficient and less forces on
an array of structures.

HVAC System Design

• Undertake functional design of HVAC systems for new construction ships.

• Prepare HVAC system SOTR and approve TSP.
• Validate and approve detailed design.
• Provide need based support on HVAC issues post commissioning of ship.
