Thesis Statement: Animals are

intelligent because they have
perceptual abilities that allow
them to learn in their own
way.

Body Paragrahps: we have examples like

the dogs who learn for their own skills
and we have the dogs who were trained
to help people. Also we have the
example of the horse Hans who was able
to give answers trough perceptual skills.

Conclusion: Animals are

intelligent if we compare
them between animals. if we
compare them with humans
we will not be able to
appreciate the wonderful
abilities they have.

Introduction: Today is the 120th anniversary of Paradise. Today I have been

able to hear the peace of silence and the melody of the smiles of the
people around me. I got the opportunitty to stay live and we studied a lot of
careers in all this time and I want it to go on like this for a long, long, long

rank first in the world and it was discovered in 2030 a vaccine created by
Peruvian scientists

BP 2: I could see my families for much longer, like when we were children and
we didn't want our parents and grandparents to die and I met the most
beautiful woman I could imagine

BP 3: The state opened multiple study programs to have a 100% trained

population. They say that practice makes perfect and that is what the country
did for 30 years.

Conclusion: The virus did not kill us and now we are a new specie more conscious about our
environment.

Writing 1
Temple Grandin and Catherine Johnson discuss the idea that animals are
intelligent. Animals are intelligent because they have perceptual abilities that
allow them to learn in their own way

Dogs are characterized by their extreme perception with a high success rate
and there are other animals with same skills. For example, they tell us about the
case of seizure alert dogs with owner Donna Jacobs. These dogs use their
perceptual abilities to help people. They were trained to avoid to avoid their
owners from hurting themselves during the seizure, or bringing their medicines.
The New York times highlighted a real case about seizure alert dogs in Florida.
Connie Standley said “my dogs predicted my seizure about thirty minutes
before”. The dogs started barking at her trying to alarm her, also the dogs were
trying to carry her to a safe place. Temple Grandin connected this with the case
of Hans. Hans was a famous horse whose owner thought he could count. The
owners mentioned, Hans was able to solve math problems but that was not
true. A psychologist proved that this was not real. Hans only could answer
questions when the person was in front of him thought movement readings.

Authors describe the intelligence describe the intelligence as the use of

perceptual abilities to achieve goals. So they considered that animals are
intelligent in a different way because they had shown superior abilities even to
their own kind.

This is the year 2175 and now we live in Paradise which is the new name for
the land. Today is the 120th anniversary of Paradise. Today I have been
able to hear the peace of silence and the melody of the smiles of the people
around me. I got the opportunity to stay live and we studied a lot of careers
in all this time and I want it to go on like this for a long, long, long time thanks
to the covid vaccine. However, even the shadows of the past continue to
haunt me.
I can still remember how it all started. In the year 2060 the third world war
was declared, I have been able to watch many lives vanish on the battlefield
that looked like hell. The bullets looked like rain, the battlefield smelled of
dust and dirt wet with blood. This whole war was to rank first in the world.
Many people thought it would be over water, but that did not happen and it
was all due to the greed of human beings and crazy leaders for wanting to
have everything. Since 2019 the world has experienced a virus called
covid19 and this greatly affected the populations of North America, Asia and
Europe, killing 80% of its population and among the many vaccines that
were created to counter this virus, it was discovered in 2030 a vaccine
created by Peruvian scientists that would give us eternal life or so I think
because I have not seen anyone die of natural causes since 2030.
In these peacefully days I could see my families for much longer, like when
we were children and we didn't want our parents and grandparents to die. I
met the most beautiful woman I could imagine, her hair smelled of flowers,
even I could say that she smelled of heaven. Her eyes were honey-colored,
so deep that with one look she stole more than one heart and her wavy hair
was as black as the same moonless night. It was love at first sight.
These vaccines allowed study and train ourselves more to be leaders in all
areas and I dedicated myself to practicing sports and the study was calling
me because my curiosity about the knowledge woke up like a child wants a
candy. The state opened multiple study programs to have a 100% trained
population. They say that practice makes perfect and that is what the
country did for 30 years. In at least 30 years, I got 3 doctorates in
economics, military intelligence, and medicine.
Finally, what started as a virus that would end humanity, ended up being the
medicine that the world was looking for and Peru now called “Paradise”
simply fulfilled its work of global cleaning. Allowing us to be the new
humanity that appreciates family, technology, plant and animal life, as recent
research shows that Paradise is a living being and we could call “GOD”.

4. RESEARCH (1)

MANDATORY VOLUNTEERING – UNIT 6

The age of 15 is the time to be rebellious and to test the limits and patience of adults. This is
normal happens to all of us when we grow up. Young people enjoy going to parties and even
drinking, which is why the government has created more mandatory volunteer programs.
Many young people are against mandatory volunteer programs, their parents support them.
Mandatory volunteer programs are necessary and should be in all the cities.

There are many reasons why there should be mandatory volunteer program for teenagers.
Teenagers need to be protected from themselves. This is a critical age to know and follow a
good way. Teenagers need to learn good things like helping others. There is no reason for
teenagers to have misbehavior with their parents because they gave their life. In fact, there
are many studies where show us the mandatory volunteer program help to reduce the
vandalism. Finally, these programs help change the misbehavior of the teenagers and make
them good citizens.

Many parents think that their children are just having a good time and that they are living their
youth in a normal way. But the truth is that it is bad behavior. That is why it is important that
they go to volunteer work so that they know how it is that people who do not enjoy the same
fate as them live. That way, they can be more empathetic to the people around them. If they
don't know what's going on around them, they won't be able to empathize.

In Peru while some people debate the idea of sending them or not. It can be said that their
arguments are weak. Many parents may worry about the type of people their children might
come in contact with while volunteering. But the truth is that parents should give them the
push their children need to grow. In this way, we can now observe that overprotection in
children has led them to be more shy and less risky in the face of new opportunities. If you
want your children to be an important part of society, encourage them to join the volunteer
service.

It is clear that teenagers go through a stage of misbehavior, but that it can be directed to a
good path, we also know that teenagers always want to have fun but it is better that they take
advantage of that time to learn good things, we also know that overprotection is not good
because it only makes them dependent. Teens need mandatory volunteer programs to grow in
life and be important to our society.

5. REFLECTION PAPER (1)

In this "ARW2" course, I have been able to learn many things but among them the ones that
were key to my learning were "thesis statement", "persuasive essay" and "failure is part of the
learning process" because they are teachings that you carry them in your daily life without you
noticing.
For everything to start, we need a beginning. That is why the "thesis statement" is a teaching
for life, because it teaches you to organize and translate your ideas from the beginning so that
you can go towards the end. Many of my papers didn't have a good thesis statement, so we
noticed it in my grades. If you don't have a head, you are dead.

The "persuasive essay" is a wonderful world of opinions and at the same time it is like a
gladiatorial arena where the strongest argument is the one that wins. You can apply it in your
daily life and defend what you think is correct. In fact, there are a lot of opinions like fish in the
sea. If you are not able to defend your point of view, whales will come and eat you like a small
fish.

While some people wonder when they fail. There are people who take this bad experience to
be better. Surely they have heard what does not kill you makes you stronger. In reality it
means learning from our mistakes and moving forward. Life is a process from the moment we
are born as well as the learning that we acquire. Finally, if you fail, do not give up or
demotivate, you just have to move on and fight to achieve your goals.

In conclusion, everything we have studied will always be useful to us in our daily life and let's
not waste time in regrets since we only have one chance to show that we are better in this life
and the best example of this is never surrender and continue even when the possibility is not
in your favor.
