How To Set Up Guided Buying Form
This sheet will help you configure the redirection to Coupa’s Contingent Workforce module from
the Guided Buying Request form. That way, when the Hiring Manager/Engaging Manager/Project
Manager adds responses on the guided buying form and clicks the action suggested by the
system, they are redirected to the appropriate contingent labor request form.
1. Click the ‘Edit’ icon against the form name downloaded from the Community Exchange.
4. Click the Collapse icon to the far right of the 'Launch Statement of Work(SOW) Request"
button.
6. Open the Coupa Home Page in a new browser tab and copy the URL in your browser’s
address bar, excluding everything after the '.com/' part.
7. Go to the previous browser tab where you are editing the downloaded form.

8. Paste the copied URL in the ‘Submit URL’ field of the ‘Launch Statement of Work (SOW)
Request’ action button and add the following text to the end of the URL
contingent_workforce/embedded?req_type=iscreatesow
10. Similarly, repeat steps 5 – 8 for ‘Launch New Staff Augmentation Request’ and ‘Launch
Identified Candidate Request’ action buttons, however, add the following text to the URL for
each.
a. New Staff Augmentation Request
i. contingent_workforce/embedded?req_type=requirementadd
ii. URL will look like

12. If you have completed customization of the form, you can publish it.
Note: Before publishing the form, you can add tags to it, so it is easier for users to find the form in
searches.
