 1 INTRODUCTION

Online News portal system allows customer to read up to date news related to may fields like
Entertainment , National , International , Business, Bollywood, Hollywood, Politics, Sports,
Education etc.

New News can be added or post only by the admin and only admin have the authorized to
update or delete any News .

Admin have the right to give authority to other for News update, add or Delete

user can also commet on the news .

Without any payment or login user can read the news anytime or anywhere .
 1.1 PROBLEM STATEMENT-

The manual system of newspaper involves all clerical work, which hectic and
complicated job. In todays fast life it is difficult for users to get news at their move

To develop an news portal , this will help people to get any news of the world online.
Admin can post news and users can read news from the portal and can be updated any
time or 24*7
 1.2 PURPOSE, OBJECTIVE AND GOALS-

The main objective of News portal system is that to provide the all type of instant and
important news related to business, world , sports, national , Education etc.

Those people who don’t have time to read the newspaper and always liked with internet can
get more informative.

Admin or End user can upload news from any where at nay time through web, mobile, tablets
,etc. with registered their login id or password .

Admin or End user manage software or other content without technical expertise .
 1.3 LITERATURE SURVEY-

 The current system is not very effective and was highly time consuming.

 Most part of the system works manually.

 It does not provide better data facilities as well as data availability on fingertip.

 Inconsistency was the major problem in existing system as there is no proper facility

 provided to update the data.

 Consumes a lot of paper work.

 Large storage space is required to keep the files and register in proper coordination.
 1.4 PROJECT SCOPE & LIMITATIONS-

It may help collecting perfect management in details.in a very short time, the collection will
be obvious, simple and sensible. It will help a person to know the details of passed year
news perfectly and vividly. It also helps in current all works relative to news . It will be also
reduced the cost of collecting the management & collection procedure will go on smoothly.

The main aim of this project is to help or provide instant news of various subject to user or
reader .
The stand-alone platform makes News portal system activities easy by handling customer
or user details. Different modules have been incorporated in this project to handle different
parts and sectors of then news portal system.

1.5 EXISTING SYSTEM-

The Existing system is not very effective and was highly time consuming.
Most part of the system works manually.
It does not provide better data facilities as well as data availability on fingertip.
Inconsistency was the major problem in existing system as there is no proper facility
provided to update the data.

Large storage space is required to keep the newspaper.

2.1 FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENT

Customer Management: The system should be able to store and manage customer
information

News Management: The system should be able to create store and manage news and media
details and information

Advertisemet Management: The system should be able to display the ads

Report Generation : The system should be able to generate various reports.

2.2 PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENT

Response Time: The system should respond quickly to user requests, especially during peak
times. The response time should be within a few seconds or less, to ensure that users do not
experience delays or frustration while using the system.
Scalability: The system should be designed to handle a large volume of data and users. As
the
number of users and data increases, the system should be able to handle the load and
continue
to function smoothly without any significant lag.
Reliability: The system should be reliable and available at all times. It should be designed
to
handle any unexpected errors or failures and should be able to recover quickly from any
system crashes or downtime.

 6 LIMITATIONS & CONCLUSION

6.1 LIMITATIONS-
During the entire work on project, limitations were found. Following points are expressed
in brief so the person who may be involved in future improvement will have an insight into
the process of this project.
There are some limitations for the current system

Sensibility level is not so high

There is no proper user involvement system is only for admin purpose .

There is no proper way for advertisement

6.2 CONCLUSION-
In our project work, an attempt has been made to develop a news portal system .
We develop this project that helps the people or user and make them are so that they can
know any news .
To establish this website or project we use various methodology . To develop this project
we have faced many problem but we hardly tried out develop this project.
