A few months ago, my friend Tom was going through a rough patch.

He had been
drinking a lot of alcohol and had lost his job. He didn't know what to do, so I asked
him to come over to my house to talk. I gave him some advice and recommended
that he visit an employment agency to find a new job.

After our conversation, Tom needed a break to get away from his problems. I told
him to stay at my house for a few days so he could relax. I offered him a room so he
could take a bath and rest. I also taught him how to bake some cookies so he could
have a hobby while he was here.

After a couple of days, Tom felt more relaxed and focused. He went to the
employment agency and found a new job at a restaurant. He was very grateful for my
help and for the time he spent here. Finally, Tom was able to get the break he needed
to get away from his problems and get his life back on track.
