More than 150 years after her birth, Marie Curie remains one of the most famous female
scientists. Marie Curie's research in the field of radioactivity was of great importance for

with depression and a kidney ailment. Curie visited Poland for the last time in early 1929.
She was exposed to the radiation and died in 1934.

Marie Curie was an icon in the scientific world and received 2 Nobel Prizes for her excellent
research work. She is my inspiration because she sacrificed her health for the society. I
think that Marie Curie is a great woman who was the first woman to received 2 nobel prizes.
She has helped the society with her inventions and dedicated her entire family for
researching in science and development. I feel great to talk about her.
