you have an idea now what is that

“I think Imagery, ma’am.”

“Indeed, it is Imagery.”

Imagery

• Imagery is a literary device that allows

writers to paint pictures in readers’
minds so they can more easily imagine a
story’s situations, characters, emotions,
and settings.

Activity 1:The es-Sense

The teacher will divide the class into
five groups. Each group will pick 1
object that the teacher will show
(perfume, o-puff, rock, picture, bell).
Each object has a corresponding
question that the students must need to
answer.

• Perfume – How would you describe the

smell of it?

• O-puff – How does it taste? A representative of each group will

pick an object.
• Rock – How would you describe the
texture of the rock?

• Picture – How would you describe the

picture?
Each group will answer their

sound of the bell?

The teacher will ask one representative

of each group to discuss their answers.

“Okay class, based on our activity, can

anyone tell me what is it about?”

“That is right!”

“So in that activity, we can now derive

the types of imagery.”

• Visual imagery

how would you describe the place?”
• Auditory imagery

“Who among you listens to K-Pop?”

“For instance, you met someone who

haven’t listened to any K-pop songs, so
how would you describe a K-pop music in
order for you to convince that person to
listen to K-pop? “The sinking sun shimmered on the

describes different scents, such as
fragrances and odors.

“Can anyone relate this type of imagery

in their life?”

• Gustatory imagery “K-Pop music features catchy beats
