Lesson Objectives
At the end of this lesson students will be able to:
• Identify and relate with the Oval shape.
• Name the shapes correctly Oval regardless of its size, color & orientation.
• Begin to draw & color the Oval shape.

Teaching Learning Materials required:

• Glue, waste newspaper.

• Water color, crayon, brush.
• Fine marker.
• Plastic egg shell (Kinder joy).

Seating Arrangement: Normal

Lesson Beginning Whole Class

• Show the slide show (Annex 1) to the class.

Time: 15 mins
• Introduce them to Oval shape and to familiarize with everyday oval shaped
Purpose: Introduce objects.
the topic • Ask students to draw 2 curved lines.
• Guide them to join these two lines with each other to make an oval.

Lesson Middle Forming 3/ Individual

• Distribute trace and color sheet. (Annex 2)

Lesson End Individual – Activity- eggshell painting

1. Give an oval shaped biscuit to each student

Time: 10 mins
2. Ask them to tear newspaper strips and glue them on the outside
