MBCI LokSeam® Metal Roof Panels
MBCI's LokSeam is a snap-together standing seam roof system with a 1 3/4 inch tall vertical rib, for use
on roofs with a minimum slope of 3:12. LokSeam panels are available in 12-inch, 16-inch and 18-inch
widths. LokSeam panels can be installed over open framing or a solid substructure and are capable of
transitioning from roof to fascia with the use of a rib cover. LokSeam does not require a solid substructure
for support and is ideal for industrial, commercial and architectural applications. Utilizing a concealed-clip,
LokSeam has the capacity for virtually unlimited thermal movement. Steel sheet panels are available in
smooth and embossed surfaces, in two-coat silicone polyester, fluoropolymer, and metallic fluoropolymer
finishes, plus Galvalume Plus exposed metal finish.

PART 98 - WARRANTY

Specifier: Warranty terms below are available from MBCI. Verify that other allowable manufacturers
furnish warranty meeting requirements.
PART 99 - Special Manufacturer’s Warranty: On manufacturer’s standard form, in which manufacturer

agrees to repair or replace metal panel assemblies that fail in materials and workmanship within
one year from date of Substantial Completion.
Specifier: MBCI's optional single source weathertightness warranties below are available for projects
installed by an MBCI-certified installer under inspection by an MBCI field technical representative. MBCI
representative can provide warranty cost estimate for desired combination of cost limitation and period of
warranty desired by owner.
PART 100 - Special Weathertightness Warranty: On manufacturer’s standard form, in which

manufacturer agrees to repair or replace metal panel assemblies that fail to remain
weathertight, including leaks, [without monetary limitation] [up to cost limitation of seven dollars

PART 213 - Remove temporary protective films immediately in accordance with metal roof panel
manufacturer's instructions. Clean finished surfaces as recommended by metal roof panel
manufacturer.
PART 214 - Replace damaged panels and accessories that cannot be repaired to the satisfaction of
the Architect.
