ORGANIC AGRICULTURE PRODUCTION NC II

I. GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS


The basic requirements for eligibility of admission in any Technical-Vocational
Institution to any trainee should at least high school graduate is 18 years old and
above, however this may vary depending on the implementing guidelines of
various scholarship programs.

II. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS


Trainee Entry Requirement as per Training Regulation
 Able to read and write;
 Able to communicate, both orally and in writing; and
 Physically fit and mentally healthy as certified by a Public Health Officer
Documentary Requirements
 Accomplished Registration Form (Mis 03-01)
 2 pcs. Passport size I.D picture (with collar, white background with nametag)
 5 pcs 1x1 size I.D picture (with collar, white background with nametag)
 2 copies of PSA/NSO Birth Certificate, Marriage Contract if married
 School credentials (Card, Form 137/School Form 10, TOR)
 Brgy. Indigency/Clearance
III. ACADEMY RULES
The shift from traditional education to competency-based education involves a
refurbishing of the training system. A comparison between the two will give us to
understanding regarding the major changes in academic rules and regulations
presented below:

IV. RULES ON ATTENDANCE


Enrolled students shall attend the orientation session as scheduled and are
expected to religiously attend lecture and laboratory classes as stated in their daily
time record.
The rule of attendance are as follows:
1. Instruction may recommend for dropping if the student has incurred absences
equivalent to five (5) consecutive days without any notice of absence from the trainer
or from any school authorities. He or she shall formally drop from the roll if after due
notice there is no formal communication.
2. A student who incurs absences equivalent to 20% of the total numbers of class school
days for the training duration will be automatically drop. The student may appeal the
decision to MPDCI.
V. SCHOOL UNIFORM/PPEs
All trainees will wear the prescribed uniform/PPEs daily unless otherwise specified.
Student not wearing the uniform/PPEs must present a letter of explanation to the
trainer.
VI. SCHOOL ID
School I.D must be worn all the times inside the school premises.
VII. GRADING SYSTEM
One of the notable changes in the view training procedure is on the grading system.
The numerical value of percentage grading system shall no longer apply. Instead, the
grading will be in accordance with the PERFORMANCE -BASED TEST. The test of
acknowledge and skills will only result to either be “COMPETENT or NOT YET
COMPETENT”.

The success of the system largely depends on the mode of delivery. The mode of
delivery turns is quite dependent upon the capability of the trainer and the availability of
the instructional materials. Competency-based education uses modularized instructional
materials with both required and optional learning activities to achieve flexibility and
provide or deferent learning styles.
