B. Objective: To practice and develop language skills related to planning a vacation, including
speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
C. Enabling Tasks:
1. Brainstorming: Students will brainstorm different types of vacations they would like to go on
and discuss their preferences in pairs or small groups.
2. Vocabulary Building: Students will learn and practice vocabulary related to travel and vacation
planning, such as accommodation, transportation, activities, and destinations.
3. Reading Comprehension: Students will read a travel brochure or article about a specific
destination and answer comprehension questions to enhance their reading skills.
4. Role-Play: Students will engage in role-plays where they take on the roles of travel agents and
customers, practicing dialogues related to booking accommodations, discussing travel itineraries,
and making recommendations.
D. Final Task:
Students will work in pairs or small groups to plan a vacation for a fictional character. They will
research different destinations, create an itinerary, budget the trip, and present their plan to the
class. The presentation should include details about accommodation, transportation, activities,
and estimated costs.
E. Evaluation:

sentence structures while planning the vacation.
