Isha.Isha is 9 years old,cute and agile.

MONTAGE:They both are in a park,warming up,playing

badminton and mocking each other.They use every playground
equipment like slides,swings ,climbers etc. and having lot
of fun. They start dancing for an instagram reel and we see
a very playful friendly relationship.While they are having
their favorite panipuri,he gets a call.He picks up
immediately and we can see there is something seriously
urgent.

He is driving the car with Isha besides him.He is on the

phone giving technical medical instructions .

MONTAGE:Starts the surgery with full force and we see Dr.

Ajay Prabhakar in action.Using surgical instruments,giving
instructions to the team and checking ECG monitor to see
blood pressure and heart rate.After heavy blood loss,Dr.
instructs attendant to bring blood.Not a regular
surgery,things are getting out of hand and they are losing
the patient.Instructs them to give CPR to revive the
patient.

1 INT. HOSPITAL-OPERATION THEATRE- LATER 1

Isha is sitting at the waiting area and watching the family

waiting outside and praying for their loved one. She feels
their pain and there is compassion in her eyes.Then she
makes eye contact with patient's brother anxiously walking
back and forth.

2 INT.HOSPITAL-CONTINUOUS 2

Red bulb turns off,everyone stands up and we see coming out

Dr.Ajay Prabhakar.

Family runs to the doctor but his body language is not

showing any good news. Family gauges his expression and..

(hesitates)
Brain mein bahut jyada chott aa
gayi thi aur pressure bahut jyada
tha.Sorry.Humne puri koshish ki.

PATIENT'S BROTHER
Hosh mein kab aayega.Kab mil sakte

AJAY
Dekhiye hum unhe revive nahin kar

ghar le ja sakte hain.

They are devastated to hear the news.Patient's brother

rushes to the O.T. to see his brother .Patient's wife
faints,other 3 male members are consoling wife and
mother.Mother starts crying, curses the doctor..

MOTHER
Mere bete ko maar diya tune.Yahan
aane se pehle toh saans le raha tha
barabar se.

AJAY
Condition pehle se hi bahut kharaab
thi..Aap aaram se baitthiye.

tension builds up and then she spits on him. Inside O.T.,

attendants are trying to get the brother out but he is
burning with rage to see his beloved brother lying dead in
front of his eyes.And then storms out to destroy the
doctor.

3 INT.HOSPITAL-CONTINUOUS 3

Comes out,takes a pot and throws at the doctor.Then

charges, grabs the doctor by the collar, punches 4 times ,
a kick in the abdomen and doctor is on the ground.
 5.

Isha at the waiting reception hears the noise and see his
father getting beaten up.She runs, shouts "Papa..Papa!" but
stopped by other people.She is shouting and crying for help
but nobody is coming forward. Male staff tries to stop but
gets pushed aside and family starts beating them too. Then
Isha runs to the ground floor,goes to the main gate and
informs the security guard.

ISHA
Uncle Papa ko log maa rahe
hain.Jaldi chalo.

Security guard gets up and starts running towards the

scene.When they reach,doctor is dragged,punched and kicked
continuously on his face.Security guard charges with sticks
and pushes the mob aside.

Staff somehow rescues and takes the doctor to another room.

Daughter runs to her father and staff also takes her with
them.

4 INT. HOSPITAL-CONTINUOUS 4

Doctor is dripping with blood from his nose and his white
coat is now red with blood.Staff makes him sit on a
chair,locks the door, starts basic first aid and stops
blood with cotton pads. Violent knocking on the door and
people shouting but all the sound is slowing down. Can only
hear his fast heartbeat and shallow breathing.

POV: He is semi unconscious and having out of body

experience .But sees his daughter standing in front of
him,she comes near and hold his hand to show she is with
him.

5 INT. HOUSE -NEXT MORNING 5

Close up of Prabhakar and Isha holding hand,both are

resting on their bed.Ajay wakes up with a lot of effort and
pain.He sees her daughter peacefully sleeping beside him
and looks her wife's photo on the wall.Trouble walking
towards the washroom,looks at the mirror and he sees
bandages on his face from last night.Walks to his living
room and sees his best friend Shahitya sleeping on the
sofa.Shahitya brought him and Isha home last night and
stayed over.

5A INT. BALCONY -CONTINUOUS 5A

He hears some noise outside the house,goes to rhe main gate

and sees a group of reporters outside his house.Just when
they see him,they start their camera and starts questioning
him.

Shahitya suddenly wakes up,takes him inside and locks the

door. He is overwhelmed with so much intrusion and he is
unable to process this.

5B INT. LIVING ROOM-LATER 5B

Two policemen in the house and we are already in middle of

the conversation between them and Shahitya. After the
complaint by hospital staff, they are here to take Ajay's
statement.Ajay is sitting on the sofa and just looking at
Isha behind the door.She is little sacred to see policemen
in the house.He doesn't have the strength to talk about the
incident and gets lost while thinking about it.

POLICE
151 CrPC ke under custody mein toh

sahab ke saamne pesh karenge.

SHAHITYA

The scene ends with policemen exciting and Shahitya is

truly disappointed and leaves .But he knows it's a choice
out of fear.

5D INT. HOUSE-MONTAGE 5D

Maid is cleaning the house and sees a plate of food rotting

from the last night because Ajay is not eating his food.

There are lot of calls and messages coming on his phone and
he switches it off.He looks at his hand shaking with
anxiety.Isha is looking at him from a distance and worried
about her father's condition.

When he goes to the balcony with Isha ,neighbors come out

and starts taking his video for social media.He takes back
Isha and locks the door.

Isha is changing bandages and putting antiseptic cream on

his wounds but he is lost while she is taking care of her.

A local news channel is presenting a program on the recent

attack on Dr.Ajay Prabhakar.

professional life back on track.But looking at Isha's
condition,he feels responsible for her as well.

He stands up,moves to the window and open the curtains to

Waiting at traffic signal,two boys on bike recognizes him

and starts taking photo of him and Isha.He feels humiliated
and shuts the mirror.

He drops Isha at school and she tells..

Ajay smiles and starts the car.

14 INT. HOSPITAL-CONTINUOUS 14

He enters the hospital, everyone's stunned, stops their

work midway, notices Prabhakar and looks into his eyes
making him feel like a victim. He is very uncomfortable and
walks forward awkwardly.

16 INT. CLINIC-LATER 16

Clock:2 p.m.

A patient,45,weak,vulnerable has come for his long overdue

spinal surgery. And asking details about the surgery and
showing his concerns

PRABHAKAR

Prabhakar is stunned to hear this and patient's relative

17 INT. OPERATION ROOM-A WEEK LATER 17

Just when he enters the waiting area outside O.T.He gets

scary flashes from the violent attack.Stops,very scared to
enter O.T. but his females attendant tells

Sir,O.T. tayaar hain.Aapka hi ka
wait kar rahe hain.

Now he has no choice but to go.

There is patient on the bed,three staff and one

anesthesiologist.All technical preparations are going on.

FEMALE ATTENDANT
Good to have you back sir.

Doctor smiles forcefully and takes the surgical instrument

and suddenly gets flashbacks from the last surgery.His
hands are shaking with anxiety. Everyone is noticing and
giving doubtful eye contacts to each other. The more
Prabhakar controls it ,the more it shakes. He is in dilemma
whether to go forward or not.

He decides to withdraw,hands it over to the staff and

storms out of the Operation Theatre immediately.Runs to his
chamber and escapes from the calls of his staff.

18 INT. CHAMBER-CONTINUOUS 18

He is gasping, sweating, takes his gloves off and looks at

his shaking hand. Then looks at all the certificates,
accolades, pictures with awards etc. on the wall. Is he
really the same genius doctor anymore?

21 INT. LIVING ROOM-EVENING 21

Both Shahitya and him are seating on the sofa. He is

pouring his heart out and almost on verge of mental
breakdown.

Shahitya calms him down and places his hand on his shoulder
for mental support.Prabhakar takes his anti depressants and
shahitya offers him water.

Isha is hearing their conversation from behind the door.

She feels really bad to see her father so vulnerable and
distressed. And feels she needs to do something to inspire
him.

21B INT. BEDROOM-LATER 21B

MONTAGE- She is looking for something all around the

house.She is putting out all the pictures,cards,folder and
finally she finds a Diary.

She starts decorating the living room with string lights,

balloons, candles and many other things.

20 INT. BEDROOM-NIGHT 20

Ajay walks in the living room and to his surpirse,the whole

room is vibrantly decorated for a birthday celebration.

He looks at her wife's photo in the middle and remembers

it's her birthday today.

ISHA
12 bajne wale hain.Come fast.

Ajay comes and sits down with her.She lights the candle and
starts singing "Happy Birthday".Ajay also joins gradually
and we see him smiling.Isha is trying to cheer up the
ambience of the house.

Ajay looks at old photographs of three of them and misses

the old happy days.

She opens the diary and starts reading.

An emotional beat. Isha pauses and her throat chokes.

Prabhakar closes his eyes as he knows what is next.

She closes the book. Both are crying,father gets up and

hugs her. An emotional embrace that finally brings them

Montage:Ajay is looking after patients,conversing with

staff and congratulates the same spinal surgery patient for
successful surgery.They are thanking him and looks like he
is regaining his confidence.

Day is over,leaving the hospital and talking to Isha on

phone while walking.

While walking he notices an ambulance outside the main

gate. Intrigued,first hears a woman shouting at staff and
then notices a patient on stretcher from a distance.

AJAY
Beta baad main call karta hun.

Cuts the phone and steps out the main door and sees...

FEMALE STAFF.
(to mother,angrily)
Aapki himmat kesi huyi yahan aane
ki.Hum toh murderers hain na,hamare
paas kyun aaye ho ?Kahin aur
jaao,jaadu ki jhaddi ghumaake theek
kar dega koi.
(referring to the
patient)
Yeh aadmi kal ka marta aaj mar
jaaye ,humein kuch farak nhi
padta.Security bahar nikalo
inko..bhaago yahan se.

He approaches the patient slowly,blood dripping from his

head and then looks at his face.To his utter shock, it's
the same guy who leaded the attack on him a month back. He
is stunned and doesn't know how to react. This is the face
which has given him so many nightmares.

Mother recognizes the doctor,falls on his feet and asks for

forgiveness.

(pleading to Dr.

Ajay is speechless and pushing himself backward as the

mother is grabbing his feet for forgiveness.He goes back
inside the hospital as he needs a moment to register this.

Enters the hospital,walks anxiously back and forth.He is

listening a mother's cry who is begging for his child's
life.

AJAY is listening to all of this and he is in a moral

dilemma. Whether to help his attacker who conflicted so
much pain on him or do his duty and save a human being's
life.The choice will decide what kind of a human being he
is ,and if he is really a hero to his daughter.In this
extreme confusion,he looks at his wife's photo and
remembers the line from her diary.

He finally decides,goes to the ambulance and instructs

everyone to admit the patient.Now we see a completely
different AJAY PRABHAKAR, who is confident,assertive, clear
and duty bound.

PRABHAKAR
(to staff,commands)
Ravi aur Ashu dono stretcher andar
lao.Neha tum log O.T. tayaar karo.

Staff stands still in shock .They show resistance as he is

the guy who misbehaved with them.

PRABHAKAR
I said TAKE THE PATIENT AND PREPARE
FOR THE SURGERY.

PRABHAKAR
Usne joh kiya woh pagalpan tha,
main joh kar rha hun woh farz hain.
(An emotional pause)
Aur "farz aur khudgarzi ke beech
mein hamesa farz chuna chahiye."

Everyone takes the point in and starts doing their work

because this is a direct command from the boss.He shares a
comforting eye contact with his mother like he will take
care of everything.

Goes to his chamber .In slow motion,puts his white

coat,mask on face,glasses etc.Checks his hand and it's not
shaking anymore and finally wears gloves.He walks in the
corridor towards O.T. and attendants loos at him with awe
and respect..Walks in slow-mo like a hero entering the
battlefield,supported by a heroic music.

Enters the O.T.,closes the door and the red bulb turns on.

FADE OUT.

21A EXT. OPERATION THEATRE-LATER 21A

Dr. Ajay comes out,mother runs to him and hoping that his
son is alive.Ajay is taking his mask off and glasses.Looks
at the mother in silence and says..

AJAY
Zinda hain.

Mother cries tears of happiness and relief.Folds her hand

and says Thank You Doctor! He smiles,walks away and it's a
triumph.
