 (In Indian philosophy) each of the centres of spiritual power in

the human body, considered to be seven in number.
Root Chakra (Muladhara)
 Located at the base of spine in tailbone area.
 Emotions Associated : Financial Independence, Money and Food!
Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana)
 Located in lower abdomen, about two inches below the navel
 Emotions Associated : Sense of wellbeing, pleasure and sexuality.
Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura)
 Located in upper abdomen, stomach area.
 Emotions Associated : Self-esteem and Self-confidence
Heart Chakra (Anahata)
 Located in the center of chest, just above the heart. Emotions
 Associated : Love, peace, fun, joy.
Throat Chakra (Vishuddha)
 Located in the throat area
 Emotions Associated : Ability to express oneself, communications,
wanting to speak the truth.
Third-Eye Chakra (Ajna)
 Located between the eyes (forehead), also called as Brow Chakra
 Emotions Associated : Imagination, Creativity, Wisdom,Intuitive
powers.
Crown Chakra ( Sahasrara)
 Located at the top of the head
 Emotions Associated : Connection to inner self, spiritual nature.
