-General information
 INTRODUCTION

UTP Bowling Club (UTPBC) or as known as UTP Pin Busters was formed to train
these probable owling players for winning titles to uphold the name of UTP and to gain
knowledge and experience. UTP Pin Busters was led under the excellent leadership
of Assoc. Prof Dr Mohd Haris Bin Md Khir together with the support from UTP Sports
& Co-Curriculum Unit, UTP Pin Busters has developed successfully and expanded
rapidly.
UTP 10-Pin Bowling Closed Tournament 2022 is a one-day competition which
will be held in Ampang Superbowl, Seri Iskandar. There will be just one category which
is between department.

OBJECTIVES
The objectives of this event are as stated below:
a) To give a tournament experience to club members
b) To make sure students know about types of format in bowling
c) To strengthen bond between club members
d) To fill the students’ leisure time with the beneficial activities
e) To develop students’ soft skills, such as communication and management
skills

 CONCLUSION
10-Pin Bowling Department Tournament 2022 is held to develop students’ soft-skills,
such as communication and management skills through involvement in tournament
management in accordance to UTP objective of creating well-rounded students.
Also, by organizing this tournament, we can attract interest of new club members to
participate and active in this club. Hence, we believe that the favourable outcome of
organizing this event will lead to the attainment of the objectives. Therefore, we
would like to gain the support and assistance from all the parties mentioned above to
make it a success.

Ultimately, UTP Pin Busters would like to thank Sports & Co-Curriculum Unit for
considering the approval for this event.

APPENDIX
PARTICIPATION
• All UTP Pin Busters’ club members

RULES AND REGULATION

1. Competition Law:
• The tournament will be conducted in accordance with the Law of United
States Bowling Congress (USBC) and 10-Pin Department Tournament 2022.
• The rules and regulations of this tournament are subjected to change by the
organizing Committee where Organizing Committees set fit and changes
made final.
2. Format of Competition:
• This tournament the format of pin down 10 pins to consider as strike.
• Matches will be calculated, and the highest score will be the winner.
• All bowlers will be competing along with their group members.

3. COMMITTEE
• The UTP Bowling club (Pin Busters) is the organizing committee of this
tournament.
 • Technical committee consisting of the lane officials will be appointed by the
Organizing Committee. The decision of the Technical Committee on the
tournament rules shall be final.

GENERAL INFORMATION
• Players are responsible for their own transport, food and beverage, safety etc.
• All the matters not expressly stated in the above rules will decided by the
Organizing Committee through meetings. All the decisions made in meeting
are final.
• Organizing Committee is not responsible for the problem of management
team / player and cannot be sued in any court for negligence of management
team or player.
