To register – 1. Log into your online banking account
2.Look for the BPAY view or View Bills section.
3.Register to receive your rates bill by entering the BPAY
Biller Code 7690 and your BPAY View
reference number from the front of this notice.
Enter the name exactly as it is on your rates notice.
PENSION REBATES
Concessions are available to eligible pensioners only.
A pro-rata rebate may apply if you become a pensioner after
the issue of this notice. However if your eligibility ceases for
any reason, an adjustment may be made.
INSTALMENTS
Rates and charges may be paid by instalments on or before
the due dates.
INTEREST
Daily interest accrues on unpaid rates at 6.00% p.a.

CATEGORISATION
A person may apply at any time for a review of rating
category and may appeal Council’s decision to the Land
and Environment Court within 30 days after the decision is
made (section 525 and 526 of Local Government Act 1993).
If there is a change of use (eg. Farmland to Residential) you
must notify Council within 30 days of any such change.
RATE EXEMPTION
If your property is a church, school, charitable
institution, hospital or the like, a rate exemption may be
able to be claimed.
IS ALL LAND RATEABLE?
Any person who believes their property is non rateable or
not rateable to a particular rate, may appeal against its
rating within 30 days of the date of service on this notice.
