HOW TO CONTACT VENDORS

When contacting vendors it is important to be as professional as possible. This shows vendors that you are
a serious customer that is about business. ​When contacting a wholesaler please thoroughly discuss
your needs! Please brainstorm and make a note of all of the questions/inquiries you’d like to ask the
vendor before messaging them. ​You want the vendor to take you seriously. Sending multiple messages
everyday without making a purchase will cause a vendor to think that you aren’t wasting their time. See
below for an example message to send to a vendor.

STEP 1: ​Before contacting the custom clothing vendors please be sure to have a mock up photo
available. A mockup is a quick sketch of the exact design that you’d like the vendor to make. If you are
not artistic please use our graphic designer on this vendors list to produce your idea. Feel free to find a
graphic designer of your own if you prefer!​ See Below

STEP 2: Now that you have your mockup and know exactly what you want you may now reach out
to the vendors to start the process.

Example:

Hello ,

My name is (your name) and I am interested in having you produce my custom clothing line. Attached to
this message is the designs that i’d like to produce. How does the process work? What are your payment
options? Do you have a MOQ (minimum order quantity)? I’m a very serious buyer referred to you by The
Boss Palace and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thank You

( your name ).

FYI: Keep in mind that some vendors are overseas so there may be a delay in responding to your
messages!! For example, 12pm your time may be 12am their time. For quicker responses contact
them during the evening and night time.
