A driving school is a business that employs instructors who teach people how to drive a vehicle.
Driving schools will teach the student the basics of controlling the vehicle. They will be able to put
their vehicles in the right place. They come to know how to reverse vehicles. The driving schools
teach forward driving. They are made familiar with the steering and how to operate it. They learn
how to safely stop and avoid skids through learning forward driving.
Certified driving school Instructors documents ( Drivers Licence, DDC, Instructors Certificate)
All driving school vehicles should have certificates of fitness issued by the Vehicle Inspectorate
Department and a valid insurance cover that has a learner’s liability
Each vehicle used for driving instruction should at least be fitted with an additional adjustable
internal rear view mirror, a centre hand brake and an additional brake pedal on the front passengers
side.
