Introduction

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and
you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to
the ends of the earth.”

Instead, be filled with the Spirit,

Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and
power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under
the power of the devil, because God was with him.

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against
the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and
against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

2Corinthians 10:3-5  For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as

demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the
knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to
Christ.

1John 4:4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome
them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the
world.

John 7:37-39 37 On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and
said in a loud voice,“Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and
drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living
water will flow from within them.”[a] 39 By this he meant the Spirit, whom
those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit
had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all
we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,
