Objective
To obtain a statistically correct
sample that complies with the
fundamental principles of
sampling theory, for use in mass
balance and smelter royalty
calculations.
Traditional Methodology
The traditional method has been
to employ gravity, pressure and
often a poorly designed cross-
cut sampler. None of these
devices completely comply with
the fundamentals of Sampling
Theory to provide a
representative sample.
