JOINT MEMO OF COMPROMISE FILED BY THE PETITIONERS
AND 2ND RESPONDENT

1. The Petitioners herein have filed the present petition to quash the
FIR in Crime No. 99 of 2018 pending on the file of the Inspector of
Police, Jolarpet Police Station.

2. It is submitted that the 2 nd Respondent herein has lodged


complaint against the petitioners on 06.04.2018 with the 1 st
Respondent police and based on the same FIR has been registered
against the Petitioner in crime No. 99 of 2018 for the offences
under sections 306 of Indian Penal Code. It is submitted that the
complaint has been lodged against the Petitioners alleging that
Petitioners have abetted the daughter of the 2 nd Respondent namely
Nirmala to commit suicide. As of now no charge sheet has been
filed in that case.
3. It is submitted that now the issues between the Petitioners and 2 nd
respondent have been settled. Hence the 2 nd Respondent decided to
not to pursue with FIR in Crime No. 99 of 2018 pending on the
file of the Inspector of Police, Jolarpet Police Station i.e 2 nd
Respondent herein.
4. It is submitted that since the issue between the Petitioners and 2 nd
Respondent settled, they want to settle the issue amicably. It is
submitted that since the offences are non-compoundable the
Petitioners and 2nd Respondent unable to record the compromise
before the Trail Court. Hence the Petitioners have filed the above
petition to quash the FIR stated above.
5. The 2nd Respondent submits that he has no objection is quashing
the FIR in Crime No. 99 of 2018 pending on the file of the
Inspector of Police, Jolarpet Police Station.
6. The Petitioners and 2nd Respondent submits that issues between
them have been settled amicably and they have no claim against
each other.

7. The Petitioners and 2nd Respondent entering into this joint


compromise memo out of their own will and consent.

It is therefore most humbly prays that this Hon’ble Court may be


pleased to record this Joint memo of compromise and quash the FIR
in Crime No. 99 of 2018 pending on the 1 st Respondent by allowing
the present quash Petition and pass such other orders as this Hon’ble
Court deems fit and thus render justice.
