The Kaupyanan sa Matigsalog Agriculture Cooperative (KASAMA) is an institution duly

registered and organized with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) under CIN #
11201843188 with office address at Sitio Kinawayan, Brgy. Marilog, Marilog District, Davao City.
The cooperaiive is a beneficiary oi Procjuction Loan Easy Access (PLEA) program of DH-aCPC
approved last July 23,2A19 for 3 hectares Cassava crop production per beneficiary.

We understand that our disbursement period is only until December 26,2019. However, we just
met with Region Xl DA Director Engr. Ricardo Onate and DA Undersecretary for High Value
Crops and Rural Credit Evelyn Lavina and discussed regarding our appeal to adjust the
existing approveci Fitty Tnousancj Pesos (P50,000) ioan per beneficiaries to be acljusteci to One
Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos (P150,000) for high value crop to accommodate actual
operation needs of the farmers for 3 hectares high value cassava crop. Planting at least 3
hectares cassava will achieve our aim of alleviating our lP beneficiaries from poverty. They have
verbally told that they will endorse and supporl. Please wait for their formal communication.

cleared already and ongoing planting. and waiting for the approval for the One Hundred Fifty
Thousand Pesos (P150,000) per beneficiary appeal which would complete the disbursement of
Five Million Pesos (P5,000,000) versus P1,700,000 to date for the 34 actual approved
beneficiaries.
