Oh, Lord how did it get this way.

The summer had stricken crop production so sev erely that the reserves would not be enough to sustain global population. A mass migration from the south had started to move across are boarder, who could blam e them. Their countries people were experiencing mass starvation. The Commander and Chief ordered troops to this location to restrict the flow of people. A mass uprising in oil producing Saudi Arabia and Kuwait had driven gas prices over $8 a gallon. Food on the grocery shelf was so limited; panic had spread through ou r citizens. Truck driver hired armed escorts to help move their goods through ou t. It was common to see trucks selling produce along the roads; this was now an era of the black markets. The whole world watched each other for any signs of ma ss troop movements or indication of war. The government had personnel on standby to ensure no disruption in our communit ies water supply, even though the cost of moving coal to the power plants had now b ecome cost prohibitive. Homes were reduced in living area size to conserve wood and heating supplies .What seemed to be hyper-inflation has struck. The rich com peting for survival. My future my family may not survive.
