    Tips to Protect from Evil Twin Attacks

     It is a good idea to use a VPN service. VPN creates an encrypted tunnel


    before transmitting data, so if someone manages to intercept the data you
    send and receive, they will not be able to read or exploit it.

     Intentionally type in the wrong key several times. Some evil twins will grant
    access to the hotspot no matter what key is entered.

     Avoid providing any sensitive information like login credentials while using
    a public Wi-Fi.

     Another useful technique is to limit the networks that your device


    automatically connects by disabling the auto connect feature on your
    wireless device.

     Never connect to a network that is unsecured if you have the choice,


    especially if it has the same name as the one your trust.

     Avoid using public Wi-Fi Networks.
