Choir Profile
The Canticle is a chorale in Saint Mary's Dubai that is also part of the Buklod Tinig in
a Filipino Community in Saint Mary's, Canticle was also involved in an event that
was organized by the Filipino community in Saint Marys,one of those is "Harana
Kay Maria" a traditional event in Saint Mary's made up of Filipino Community
including the Buklod Tinig a Filipino choir in Saint Marys.

Harana Kay Maria that normally celebrates at Saint Mary's church Dubai for 10
nights in the month of September All the Filipino Community Filipino choir or the
Buklod Tinig offered to sing a beautiful songs about Mary and The Canticle choir
was one of those who participated in singing to "Harana Kay Maria" The Canticle
performed a song with a title "Memorare" with the collaboration of Redemptorist
Music Ministry of Perpetual Help Baclaran Church.
Interview Segments

The Canticle Chorale interviewed Brother Ian Antonio to share information about the
beauty of the National Shrine of our Mother Perpetual Help or better known as Baclaran
church.

Brother Ian Antonio is a Redemptorist Brother in the National Shrine of Our Mother of
Perpetual Help and he is also a member of the Redemptorist social Mission team.
According to Brother Ian Antonio, Baclaran is well known for the Redemptorist Church
or the Baclaran Church which houses the National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual
Help, dedicated to the Holy Mary herself. It is one of the largest Marian churches in the
Philippines that is visited by many Filipinos all over the country. The church is especially
packed on Wednesdays, which is popularly called as the “Baclaran Day” due to the
number of people attending the mass and praying to the Mother of Perpetual Help.

Collaboration ( MEMORARE SONG)

A song was sung by two combined choirs entitled Memorare for the Harana kay Maria
at Saint Mary's Church, Canticle of Saint Mary's church collaborated with the
Redemptorist Music Ministry Of Perpetual Help Baclaran Church.

The two choirs collaborated on an original song for Maria titled Memorare, using Virtual
Video.
Canticle Solo Performance

A song was sung by the canticle choir for maria titled Dios Te Salve, Maria a spanish
song for Mary meaning God save, Mary in english it was composed by Richard
Burchard

Dios Te Salve, Maria was sung by the Canticle choir for Mary in the celebration of the
"Harana Kay Maria" at the Saint Mary's church formed by the filipino community, it was
celebrated in the month of September sung by the filipino choir or better known as
Buklod Tinig.
Prayer For The Whole World

Dear God, we pray for the word that is suffering from Covid - 19 Outbreaks
especially those who are expecting the worst Covid-19 infections. Guide those who
are trying so hard to find the right protection against the virus that they may have
an enlightened mind in discovering innovations in fighting against the virus. God,
We lift up all of our hearts, all of our hopes and wishes, all of our thoughts, because
you are in every fiber of our humanity. Give us hope, O, Lord that somehow your
children may experience good health and life instead of sickness and death. O
Blessed Virgin Mary, guide us in everything that we do, that no matter how difficult
our situation is, we will stay strong and be united as one community for the Lord.
Bless all those who humbly serve you unconditionally and keep us safe always.
God, Forgive us for the times we have lost faith, for the times we have sinned
against our fellowmen, for the times we failed to follow Your righteous ways. We
pray that you will lead us. That you will show us the path to peace as we sit not
always knowing what to do next. May you fill hearts with hope, joy and peace so we
may endure life's struggles with your guidance and your grace. We ask this through
Jesus Christ Your Son and through the intercession of our Blessed Virgin Mary,
Amen.
