Assignment II: Case analysis provides you with the opportunity to learn by doing. Real case
analysis is an essential part in any business management course as you are on Master’s Program

Instruction
1. Identify an organization that you want to study (public, private, NGO, etc.)
2. Prepare a comprehensive write up on “Review the practices of Human Resource
Management in line with Ethiopian HR proclamations and directives” of that
company
3. Make a review of available secondary sources (Books, Journals, Company Reports,
Internet, etc.)
4. The report length should be between 5-15 pages, excluding preliminary pages and
appendices;
5. The report must be 1.5 spaced, 12 point font, style justified

Points to be considered the following in line with Ethiopia Civil servants Proclamation and
direction related with HRM :-
• Is the performance appraisal /method/ tools well designed?
• Types of leaves
• How the compensation is determined?
• How to practicing Human Resource Planning
