INVITATION AND ARRANGEMENTS FOR ARTASFEST 2023 ‘TOGETHER WE STRIVE,

TOGETHER WE THRIVE’

We are excited to announce the upcoming ARTasFEST 2023, a vibrant and innovative
student-led carnival organised by Edgefield Secondary School. This event is scheduled on 11
August 2023, from 3pm to 9pm at our school premises and open to the public.

Your child, along with their form class, will be setting up and operating a booth as part of the
carnival. They have been working diligently towards this, brainstorming ideas, planning and
preparing for their respective booths, under the guidance of their Form Teachers. This process
seeks to hone their 21st Century Competencies (21CC), especially their leadership,
communication, collaboration, and inventive thinking.

Each form class will have its roster for booth setup and operation, with setup scheduled from
10:30 am to 12:30 pm, and booth operation from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm is
set aside for students to have their lunch and other activities. Parents should refer to your
child's form class booth roster in Parents Gateway for the specific reporting time of your child.
Your child should report to school in half-uniform i.e. school-based T-shirt with school pants /
skirt.

We invite you to join us in supporting and celebrating the efforts of our students at ARTasFEST
2023. The event offers a variety of engaging activities and delicious food prepared by the
students, alumni, and external vendors. While some vendors may also offer NETs, QR code
or PayNow payment options for your convenience, to ensure a smooth and enjoyable
experience, you may also wish to bring along cash for purchases at the booths.
