M ombasa Railway Station, will be open during normal oflice
hours for the period 3rd M ay to 22nd M ay 1967, for the
acceptance of traders' weighlng and m easuring apparatus
which requires verilication and stam ping.
2.All traders within a radius.of 12 m iles of tho above-
m entioned ol ce whose apparatus was last stamped m ore than
12 m onths ago are required, under the provisions of the
W eights and M easures Act (Cap. 513), to produce to the
Inspector of W eigbts and M easures, a1l weights, m easures of
length and capacity,and weighing instruments which they have
in use for trade,for verification and stamping.
3. Only weighing instruments the weighing capacity of which
exceeds 1,000 lb., or which are of a permanently fixed nature
or delicate construction,will be assized 'èin situ''. Traders in
possession of such instruments may comply with this notice
by notffyfng the Tnspector of W eightsand M easures in writing

11.The grantee shall not erect on the land any hoarding,
placard,poster,sign or advertisement excepta notice advertising
the presence and products of the grantee's business.

the proportionate cost of constructing al1 roads and drains
and'sewers serving or adjoining the land and shallon com-

or be refunded the amount by which the actual proportionate
cost exceeds or falls short of the amountpaid asaforesaid.

Commissioner may gssess.
14.Should the Comm issioner of Ivands at any time reqttire
any'roads serving or adjoining the land to be constructed to,
a higher standard the grantee shall pay to the Commissioner
on d'em and such proportion of the cos't of such construction
as the Com missioner may assess. '
15.The grantee shall pay suoh rates, taxes, charges, duties,
assessments or outgoings of whatever description as may be
imposed, charged or assessed by the Government or local
authority upon the land orthe buildingserected thereon,includ-
ing any contribution or other sum paid by the Com mlmsioner
of Lands in lieu thereof. '
