Installation Installation will be to highway standards, offset 2 to 4.5 m from the edge of the shoulder and 1.5 to 2.5 m above the road surface. Responsibility 5.1 The Department of Highways and Transportation will be responsible for sign design, ordering, location, installation, maintenance, replacement and all related costs.
