Vietnam claims an EEZ of 417,663 km2s

China’s so called Nine-Dash line cuts straight through Vietnam's
EEZ in the SCS and would reduce our EEZ by 3/4th. That is 75% of
our EEZs.
In the spring of 2014, China clashed with our country over China's
Haiyang Shiyou oil rig in Vietnam's EEZ. The incident left seventeen
Vietnamese injured and damaged both China's and Vietnam's
ships.
On April 14 this year, A Chinese survey ship that was embroiled in
a standoff with Vietnamese vessels last year in the disputed South
China Sea returned to waters within Vietnam’s Exclusive Economic
Zone. So not only are they openly hijacking OUR waters, they’re
trying to kill our citizens in cold blood.
A Vietnamese fishing boat near islands in the disputed waters was
sunk by the Haiyang Dizhi 8 which is an act that has led to protest
in Vietnam and we openly accuse China of violating our
sovereignty and threatening the lives of our fishermen.

I think that by now, we all can agree that China is simply being a
bully and is displaying borderline terrorism and violating MANY
international laws.

Even the United States says that they are seriously concerned
about China’s reported sinking of the vessel and MAYBE THEY
SHOULD instead FOCUS ON CONTROLLING THE SPREAD OF THIS
CHINA ORIGINATED COVID VIRUS RATHER THAN TRYING TO
DESTROY OUR ECONOMY.

The Philippines, and many other countries, have raised their

concerns too.
