Mr. Prasenjit Ghosh & Mr. Ritendra Ghosh reached Vandana Global site on 13/12/22 and following activities
& observations were carried out
Replaced the lgnition Transformer, operation checked & found ok.

Replaced the heating element for Suction heater, operation checked & found ok.

Replaced the on delay Timer at Burner Control Panel, operation checked & found ok.

Coal Dryer Commissioned with Pilot lgnition System & material load using FO. After installation of Bag
Filter with RAV and Duct modification again trial to be taken for proper commissioning in terms of

During trial to total material feeding 21.935 MT@ 12.3% moisture and output got 19.635 @ 9.26%
moisture. Total loss is 2.3MT which is 10.49% loss. After dried reduce moistureie 3.04% (12.3-9.26)
loss of fine dust of in air is 7.45%.

M/s Transtech recommended for polymer sheet on Feeding hopperfor free flow of material.

.M/s Transtech requested to M/s Vandana Global Limited to Install RAV at cyclone as early as possible.

During operation found that Suction Draft on HAG is not proper due to insufficient Duct size & ID Fan
because the Ducting was not fabricated as per Transtech drawing. Hence Dryer cannot be operated at fulI
load for which need to confirm ID Fan capacity and increase size of Duct and Chimney as per our Design.
Due to positive pressure temperature also could not be achieved beyond 356 Deg C @ pressure4
Kg/Sqcm, whereas design of dryerfor 550 Deg C@6 to 7 Kg/sqcm on 55 TPH feed of coal.

Dryer trial under coal feeding for 1 hours and due to insuficient of coal quantity not run continuous.

M/s TRANSTECH suggested to M/s VANDANA GLOBALto install the Bag Filter System for arresting fine
dust particle to maintain pollution control.

TRANSTECH Engineers are leaving site on 17.12.2022.
