and IRUSSOR-2021 on Indian Railways.

In response to this offe leters under referenfe (ii) abovec Divisions have submited Building Cost
Index (BCI), duly veted by the assofiate fnanfe vide leters under ref. (iii) to (viii) above. The average
values of BCI have been worked out for implementaton over NR as under:

(i) BCI for Plain areas of all the Divisions of NR : 107.75

(ii) BCI for Hilly area of FZR & UMB Divisions of NR: 132.35

In terms of Railway Board’s leter under ref. (i) abovec the above values of BCI have been approved by
the Competent Authority afer fonfurrenfe by HQ fnanfe. These values of BCI have also been uploaded on
Works tenders module of IREPS web portal.

Furtherc it may be noted that BCI is to be updated “at least once every six month” with the approval
of head of Civil Engg. Dept. This shall be done on the basis of market rate determined through open tender
profess in diferent tenders awarded by Divisions and other units of NR.

With this issue of BCI and uploading of same on IREPSc CPWD Delhi Sfhedules of Rates, DSR-2021
(DSR- Vol. Ic DSR- Vol. IIc DSR-Hortfulture & Landsfaping-2020)c Analysis of Rates for DSR (AOR-Vol. Ic AOR-
Vol. II) 2021 & CPWD Spefiffaton (Vol Ic Vol. II) for exefuton of all Civil Engineering works related to
Building worksc Road works and Hortfulture works (except Formatoo works, Bridge works aod P.way
works) is to be adopted on NR with immediate efeft.
